Poptropica Help Team
The Poptropica Help Team consists of our blog’s 7 staff members: Hijuyo, Smockers, Codien, CoderKid, Green Seal, Neat Whale, and Tyrian. Here’s a short description of each of us:
Hijuyo is actually two people, shared by an 11-year-old boy (Juicebox) and his 13-year-old sister (Cheeseball). We are both 7th graders living in Hong Kong, and are glad to say we are Christians - in fact, we encourage you to become one, too!
Codien: The graphics guy. I design most of the images on this site, such as that blog header you see at the top (on special occasions, our blog header is even re-decorated!). My Poptropican’s name is Massive Eel / Codien. I live in Australia and I’m 16 years old and still love Poptropica. Age never matters, it’s if you enjoy it or not, not what other people think.
I love playing Soupwords or Paint War on Poptropica, and my poptropican name is –of course– Green Seal. I hope to see you guys in Poptropica some day! I’m 12 years old, in 7th grade, and my birthday is on September 12. Oh, and here’s the most important thing you should know about me: I’m obsessed with cheese. =)

Calm Spinner-Even though u r Catholic, accepting Jesus as your lord and Savior and repenting 4 ur sins makes u a Christian! Catholics, Protestants, Jewish ppl, and Baptists are part of a religion! Christianity is not a religion. If those people who are part of those religions (and other religions 2)accept Jesus into their hearts and admit that they r sinners and repent makes them Christians! So even if u r part of a religion and accept Jesus, u r a Christian!

well that depends…this is the way i know, hit the print screen button(above the 9 button) on your key board…then open up paint and hit “edit” then “paste” that should work..its worked for me

Alyduchess – Thanks for the compliments! To take a screenshot of your character, press the “PrtSc SysRq” (Print Screen) button on your keyboard. Then open up Microsoft Paint (or any image-editing programs you have) and click “Edit” at the top, then choose “Paste”. The screenshot you took will be placed there. Crop out the part you want, right-click, and select “Copy”. Then open a new page (no need to save the previous one), and select “Paste” again. When the picture appears, click the “File” button at the top, choose “Save”, and save it where ever you want to save it on your computer!

Could you finish an island in 10 min. beause my friend completed super power island in 10 min. That’s what my friend said, so I do not know if it is true.
Scary Tomato: If that’s true, that’s really fast! As far as I know, it is possible, but you’d have to be super-ultra-mega quick if you could do it! If you want to know whether your friend is telling the truth or not, ask him/her to do that island again (create a new account) and time your friend. See if the end time is close to 10 minutes. From there you can see how accurate your friend’s statement was.

Amanda – No, it’s not unfair. First, it is a responsibility to be an author. I felt I could trust Smockers, so I made him an author. If you make good comments and not ask questions already asked before, post in the right area, and more, your chances to an author will increase. I can’t have too many authors, though.
Yes, I’ve answered that question way too many times. Go to the WordPress website and sign up for a blog there. It’s free, and you can pay for additional updates like removing the “wordpress” from your blog’s URL (link).

about the avatar thig you know how you said this:
To take a screenshot of your character, press the “PrtSc SysRq” (Print Screen) button on your keyboard. Then open up Microsoft Paint (or any image-editing programs you have) and click “Edit” at the top, then choose “Paste”. The screenshot you took will be placed there. Crop out the part you want, right-click, and select “Copy”. Then open a new page (no need to save the previous one), and select “Paste” again. When the picture appears, click the “File” button at the top, choose “Save”, and save it where ever you want to save it on your computer! Hope this helps.

You’ll have to get a WordPress account to change your avatar. To do that go here: http://wordpress.com/. Once you have one, go to your Dashboard (located at the top of the screen) and click on Users. Then click on the “Your Profile” tab that shows up. From there, you can change your avatar as well as other profile options!

David – Yep, there is! There’s a quest guide for every island that exists so far. You can get to it by clicking “Island Quests” at the top, and then choosing which one you want. Then you’ll be brought to that island’s page. Click on the word “Guide” at the top of the island’s page to be brought to its quest guide!

Scary Tomato: You can meet people sometimes, but it’s hard because only 6 people are allowed in a multiplayer room at a time. If you do want to see someone who you know at that moment is online, but don’t see them in the room they’re in, try exiting and re-entering the room until you see him/her.

I missed out on the tinkerbell suit and apart from using the customiser tool how would I be able to get the full tinkerbell suit including the sparkly wand?
Scary Tomato: You can get the body clothing part of the Tinkerbell stuff by finding people wearing it in multiplayer rooms and Costumizer-ing them, but the sparkly wand is a handheld item, and sadly cannot be Costumized.

Scary Tomato: Well, on my laptop it says “PrtSc SysRq”, but it means Print Screen. Mine is located between the F12 and Pause Break keys. You can try getting a picture with your Print Screen button and hope it works.

That is cool!! You find the character that has the outfit you want, then go up to the right hand corner of the poptropica screen, and click the shirt button(costumizer) then click on the person who has your outfit, and then it will make your character and the other character huge and you press on what you want, and then press accept. ST: The only 2 ways of getting Poptropica credits are completing islands and purchasing them with real money (1 US cent = 1 credit). If you don’t want to purchase, then you’ll have to wait until the next island comes out, sorry.

I think he looked up Codien on Yahoo or something and it was an account at Metacafe with Poptropica videos, and it said his name was Paul. And from Australia (which we know), where the kangaroos are (wow, isn’t that obvious).

This is a good help blog. I love to play on poptropica and have completed all the islands but spy, astro knights, and super power. Right now, I am doing astro knights. My favorite island is probably time tangled, since it is really fun and it has lots of facts about different places and times.

The Mystery of the Poptropican Ghost

Chapter 1:Befuddlment and Confusion
It all started one morning when Clean Sinker headed downstairs for breakfast. Her 3 sisters, Clean Eagle, Clean Snowball, and Clean Fly were fighting over puzzle pieces. Her 1 brother, Clean Icicle, was building with blocks, even though he was 15. “What’s going on in here?” asked Sinker. “I haven’t had a turn and they won’t let me go first!” whined Eagle. Eagle was 6, Snowball was 14,Fly was 12, and Sinker was 9. Sinker wore knickers and a cowl. Fly wore denim jeans. Icicle wore denim jeans. Everyone but Sinker wore denim jeans. “Alright, what is it this time?” asked their mother, Clean Paw. “MOM!THEY WON’T SHARE!” yelled Eagle. “Girls…”, said Paw, in her deep, low tone of voice that sent chills up Fly’s and Snowball’s spines. Snowball and Flu instantly scampered out of the room. “Befuddlement and confusion…”, mumbled Icicle.
Chapter 2: The Deep, Dark Cave
“You’ve GOT to be kidding me”, said Sinker. “C’mon. You’ve been fighting 24/7.
Stop it.” The next day, Sinker got on the computer and went to Google Search. She typed, ‘How to stop fighting’. Then she saw a pop-up window that said: ‘PSN has stopped working’. ‘PSN’ standed for ‘PoptropicaSoft Network’. She turned off the computer. “TIME TO GO TO THE BUS STOP! Paw yelled from downstairs. “OK”, said Icicle and Sinker, sighing. “YAY!” screamed the other girls, which were Fly, Eagle, and Snowball.
Chapter 3: Mystery at Recess
“Oops, gotta go get my pencil”, said Sinker during writing. “BRB.” Sinker was in 5th grade, Icicle was in eighth, and the others were in Kintergarten. Sinnker was in Mrs. Green’s class. Today in writing, they had to write a spooky story. Invisible Coyote’s was about a black cat with a limp. Sinker’s story was about a bat who’s brain had been taken over by aliens and it was going insane until an owl pressed an off button. Later, at recess, Sinker met Icicle at the slide that was numbered ‘7′. All the slides were numbered from 1 to 10. Then they saw a white transparent figure. They thought at first that it was just a prankster, but it WAS a ghost. “I am Williamson Crimson…”, it mumbled. It was a boy.
Chapter 4: Unexplainable
“This is SO unexplainable”, said Icicle, backing up. Sinker backed up too. “Another word for ‘unexplainable’ is ‘paranormal’…”, mumbled Sinker.
“Um…Uh..”, Williamson Crimson mumbled.
“FIND THE CHALICE, THE SILVER EMERALD CHALICE!” yelled the ghost. “FIND IT! SEARCH! SEARCH! SEARCH!”
Chapter 5: A Computer Virus… AGAIN!
“AAAAARRRGH!” yelled Sinker. “MY PC HAS A VIRUS… AGAIN!” She turned the computer off and went to read her book called ‘Ghosts: The Real Deal & How to Fight Them’.
The first page read: ‘The real deal is riddles. Williamson Crimson is a riddle master, a mystery of a ghost. How to Fight Them: Figuring out their riddles! The most common one is: ‘Find the silver emerald chalice.’ It’s up to YOU to find it!’
“Ummm…”, Sinker said. She paused. “I’ve gotta tell Icicle!”
Chapter 6: Our Mystery, Solved & Done
The next morning Sinker told Icicle what she had read the previous night. “We’ve GOT to find the chalice!” said Icicle when he heard. “Yeah”, agreed Sinker. “The chalice.”
Later at slide number 7 when they met, Williamson Crimson wasn’t there yet. “Page 34 said we have until midnight of October 31. Halloween”, Sinker told Icicle. “OK’, said Icicle, “But how will we find it?” There was a long pause. “What about Haunted House? It said something about a…”
“Chalice”, Icicle finished Sinker’s sentence. “I know.” After school, they went to Haunted House. They saw a silver cup with
emeralds on it. “That must be the chalice!” said Sinker, excitedly. “Quick, get it!”
So Icicle picked it up and the next day they met at slide number 7 with the chalice. Williamson Crimson was there, waiting for them. “You have done well”, he said, “And you brought me the chalice.Your reward? 2,000 Poptropica credits. “Wow,thanks!” said Icicle and Sinker at the exact same time.
“We’ve solved our mystery!” they said. “Our mystery, solved and done!” Their sisters stopped fighting.
