Hey guys, it’s Neat Whale. Most of you know me, I think… I’m an administrator on the PTB (Poptropical Thunder’s Blog), and administrator on The Zone. I’m ten, born on April 23, and I live in the USA, which led to my often used nickname ‘The Unknown American Tween’. (Fun fact: This name is also used by me when I feel like my B-Ball mates are ingoring me… which happens a lot, unfortunally)

I’m obsessed with Poptropica, of course. I’ve been on the PHB for about a year now, on December 11th (I think). Not many of you know this, I’m sure, but I just want to put it out there, that for about four months my parents kept me from the PHB, which was not a fun time.

But, hey, I’m back now…. and before I close this post, I just want to say thank-you to ALL of the people that were there for me and were my friend, you should know who you are by now, but if you don’t… you’re Poptropical Thunder, Golden Eagle, Cool Wing, Green Seal, Cheerful Claw, Storm, Raven, The Boot, Winter Moonbeam, Sana, Super Grape, Jes, Golden Sky, Zuzu, and of course, Hijuyo.

And anyone thanks to those who stood up for me that time when I was accused of making Grumpy Wolf leave, of course. You mean a whole bunch to me, and I am never about to go off and forget you for that.

I hope you all enjoy me on the staff here.

Doesn’t he scare you too?  0.o The title of the post was “Counterfeit Island Gate Keeper”, and the description was:

Here is some concept art for Counterfeit Island. Watch out for the Gatekeeper! You will only like him when he’s…crazy.

I think he’s crazy enough. xD If you look at the homepage, there’s a link to a page about Counterfeit Island’s plot!  (Thanks, TyrianCF!)

When you click on it, you will be lead to this page:

So, the description talks about the plot, saying that you will have to explore the “dark and dangerous side of Counterfeit Island” and save the famous artwork from the person who’s out to steal it.  This probably includes that Thomas Jefferson painting, and the Scream.

1. New Side Ad! (Credit to Bobitator of the PHF!)
   There’s a new side ad on Poptropica, for the Cartoon Network TV show “Total Drama Island” (which I think is a VERY dumb show ). SHAME Creators! Check out its picture below. It appears whenever you change scenes. Poptropica must really be getting up there if they’re getting money from Cartoon Network…O_o

   The Snowman costume is a…well..Snowman. With the Snow Fall, you can brighten up your gaming experience! It causes snow to fall from the top of your screen to the bottom, which is really cool. I don’t think either is worth spending Credits on though.

Hey everyone! =) Comic Kid posted a new sneak peek of the new Counterfeit Island coming up! (Thanks for the update, Happy Storm!) It shows a cute little cottage, as shown below:

I’m not sure if the owners of the cottage would like having some poptropican by the name of Comic Kid in their house… xD  The title of the post was “A little getaway” by -of course- Comic Kid.  The description in the post was:

While exploring more of Counterfeit Island, I saw a quaint little cottage just outside of town, that would be a great vacationing spot.

I wonder what the cottage would have to do with the plot of the island… oh well, we’ll find out soon. =D (I hope, at least. 0_o)

Anyway, you probably noticed the [TOTALLYAWESOMEANDCOOLANDAWESOME] snow falling when you view the blog.  It looks AWESOME and helps to get you in that wintery mood.

Hi everyone!  As you can probably guess since I’m posting in this blog, I’m a new author!  =D Hijuyo invited me to this awesome blog, so here I am! Some of you already know me from my blog, Poptropicalthunder’s blog, on the PHF, or just by my comments here.  Some of you, however, may not, so here’s some info about me:

I live in the USA, and I love Poptropica, helping others, and chatting. =D I love playing Soupwords or Paint War on Poptropica, and my poptropican name is –of course– Green Seal.   I hope to see you guys in Poptropica some day!  I’m 12 years old, in 7th grade, and my birthday is on September 12.  Oh, and here’s the most important thing you should know about me: I’m obsessed with cheese. =)

I’m gonna be posting updates on Poptropica on here, and I hope you’ll all like me *cough* and give me cheese cookies. *cough*

Creators' Blog Post: "At the Station"

Seriously Dr.Hare? I mean you really can’t talk about going to jail, you’ve been there yourself at least 10 times.

Anyway, back to the post. Isn’t that the kid from the Fuel Up Ad, minus the “UGH-OUR-SCHOOL-MENU-SUCKS” mouth? Just an observation. =D

This post is obviously referring to the infamous Counterfeit Island. Here’s what PHF member Shaggy Tornado had to say about it, and I agree:

i think i know what the plot is about! A thief stole a painting and left a forgery, a counterfeit (hence the name) and u have to look for the painting and the thief!

Sounds possible, right? But of course, there’d be lots of other things in the plot, not just what Shaggy thought. I think that Master Mime is the head honcho of some huge counterfeit operations, and we’ll have to take him down.

In this other Counterfeit Island Sneak Peak from the Bard, we can obviously tell that:

1. The Bard is inside an art museum
2. The picture in the frame is obviously not the one that’s really there
   in Counterfeit Island
3. This sneak peak further proves the “stolen painting” plot, stated above

The Binary translates to “The Scream”, a painting by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch.

Also, has anyone noticed that the Creators are posting ALOT? I mean did their free time just double or something?

New Ad: “Night at the Museum 2″!

New Poptropica Ad: "Night at the Museum 2"

OK, first of all: WHY WOULD ANYONE, IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WANT TO RE-ASSEMBLE A DINOSAUR? They’d have to have a death wish. “Oh thanks for putting me back together…I’ll just skip to the end of this and eat you.”

The goal of this ad is to find all of Rex’s Bones and re-assemble him. Once you do that, you get an awesome “Museum Guard” outfit, and Rex gets dinner. Works out for both of us, right?

S0me of you may remember how in my previous post I talked about finding a flashlight. When I posted about that on the PHF, member Serious Glove guessed that the flashlight would be apart of this ad! Congrats SG!

Before I end this post, I wanna say that I’ll be modifying The Poptroportex to include this ad!

New Store Stuff!
Shark Boy from the Poptropica Creators’ Blog changed his avatar in honor of one of the two new costumes to arrive at the Poptropica Store – the Tiger Shark! (Notice the amazing dead fish!) For girls, you can also pick up a Swan Ballerina outfit. Thanks to Xarr for this update.

Tiger Shark – Basically looks like the shark costume from the Shark Museum at Shark Tooth Island. But with this costume, there comes a twist where the boring gray color of the typical shark becomes a thrilling striped orange. You can also Customize the awesome fishy and toss it in the air by pressing the space bar!

Swan Ballerina – The title says it all! It’s a pretty dancing ballerina costume mixed with a taste of swan. Isn’t it beautiful?

Santa Buddies Ad
For younger children (6 to 11 years old), a nice Christmas adventure awaits you at the Disney Santa Buddies advertisement building! You can find it on Main Street of most islands. Thanks goes to Incredible Fish for the update.

Once inside the building, go to the right side to be briefed by the white instructor dog, Santa Paws, about what to do. The goal is to get all five brown reindogs in time to deliver Santa’s presents so everyone can have a very merry Christmas season! xD

You have sixty seconds to round up all 5 dogs. To the right side of the Santa Paws is a snowy landscape, and if you explore the area, you should be able to touch 3 of the dogs. The other 2 dogs are hidden back inside the advertisement building, on the higher platforms. When the time is up and you have succeeded in your mission, you will watch a little cutscene where you get to drop gifts down the chimneys!

After the cutscene, you will be presented with two prizes – a green elf costume with antlers and a surprise box. The elf costume is similar to last year’s, except that there is no nose attached to the antlers and the pants are yellow.

The surprise box can be used (by clicking on the ”Use” button on its item card) to spray gift boxes all over the place, then having them magically clear up. YAY BOXES!!
